A FOCUS ON THREE TECHNICAL FIELDS
The training program is designed around three broad technical fields -
  • Electrical - Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronics Engineering
A COMBINATION OF THEORY AND IN-PLANT TRAINING
The training program combines theory and its application to real work situations encountered in the industries. Supervised in-plant training in industrial establishments and workshop practices at CPAT enable students to achieve excellence and high standards of efficiency in technical competency.
AN EFFECTIVE TRAINING FOR PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE ORIENTED VOCATIONS
The program is designed for effective training in production and maintenance oriented vocations with a stress on engineering-manufacturing type activities. Basic and specialised inputs in theory and practice are provided at CPAT with a structured in-plant practical training in the participating industrial establishments.
A BROADER PERSPECTIVE OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION
The program offers courses in Business Economics, and Entrepreneurship to develop a broader perspective of technical education by highlighting its relationship to the socio-economic and political developments in the country.
PERSONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
The program offers unique opportunities for personal growth and development through courses in Yoga and Value-explorations. The practices of mindful breathing and meditation, introspection and dialogue on various personal and social issues, prepare students to ably face challenges that confront them in society.
A MULTI-SKILLED TRAINING WITH A FOCUS ON QUALITY
The core curriculum in the three engineering fields will introduce the trainee to a multi-skilled training. The students learn to plan, execute and evaluate their work in terms of the quality standards set by modern industries. The classroom instruction and workshop training are geared to meet the requirements of the practical knowledge needed in the industries.
